Holly Borrelli is a recent graduate from Florida State University and earned a dual degree in dance and finance. She trained in ballet and contemporary under esteemed faculty members, including  Kara Wilkes, Jawole Zollar, Suzanne Farrell, Ilana Goldman, Tim Glenn, Caleb Mitchell, and Meagan Helman. Additionally, Borrelli danced with The Tallahassee Ballet as a Corps de Ballet member for two seasons and is now a guest choreographer for the company. As a company member, she performed in Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, excerpts of Swan Lake, and various contemporary works.

 

While at FSU, Borrelli discovered her true passion for choreography and storytelling through movement. She presented her choreographic work Pinnacola in FSU's Days of Dance 2024 and Energetic Waves in FSU's Festival of Creative Arts 2025. At the Tallahassee Ballet, Borrelli set choreographic works for the company's 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 seasons, including her most recent works Outside In and Solitude.​ This past spring, she was awarded the Anthony Morgan Undergraduate Choreographic Award in Dance.

In order to combine her experience in dance and finance, Borrelli worked in various arts administration capacities at The Joffrey Ballet School.  She was a Resident Advisor for Joffrey's NYC summer intensives in 2023, the Residence Hall Coordinator in summer 2024, and the Accounting/Operations Intern for spring 2025. Now, Borrelli works full-time as the Accounting Associate for Joffrey Ballet School.
